I've been ruminating over times in my life where I have felt the need to hide my excitement about things due to a fear of an outside party not sharing that excitement.  In time I've come to a place where I decided every interest, hobby, or craft is equally valid and what you are drawn to depends on what you have been exposed to so far. Sharing things that excite you gives other people a chance to  relate to you or learn about something that could also bring them happiness.  Granted you shouldn't talk someone's ear off if they are clearly not interested in the topic but you can still throw it out there and see if it blossoms into a new collaborator or friend. :)   :)   :)   :)   :)   :)   :)   :)   :)   :)   :)   :)   :)   :)   :) #happiness #youdoyou

Hello friends! Happy Earth Day!! Your suggested reading music to pair with this post: A little over a month ago I noticed our mailbox must have jumped off the curb and hit a snow plow over the winter. Mmmm... rusty nails...  So, I put it on a mental list of " things I should consider addressing when I'm feeling up to it, eventually ". And then a couple weeks later we had a day where we had 60 mph winds ( #Illinois ) and I came home and the situation had grown decidedly more urgent. womp womp. Luckily I had set the gears in motion earlier that week to " start to obtain required objects to replace the broken thing, eventually ". I found a mailbox on Amazon with the model name "Villager" which sold me because I already thought it looked like a house from Animal Crossing. After watching a couple YouTube videos on how to install stepping stones I decided that this might be something that I could conceivably achieve. Possibly. Now, you can do it a fancy and correct way but what I did was something that is not that... but close enough. I started my journey at Meijer where I got 4 patio stones for about 2.99 a pop. I would have gotten more but I broke my sandal while loading them into my cart and they were heavy and I was afraid I was going to crush my fingertips and have an emotional meltdown at my local grocery store. After I loaded the stones into my cart I perused the plant section for a bit and barely touched the corner of a "shelf" that a row of plants were sitting on and they all fell to the ground. My initial reaction was to look around and see if anyone saw me do it and then run away, which i almost do and then I grouchily decide that if they have security cameras and they recognize me they are going to be like " Oh there goes tha...
